Obituary of Joanne Malinowska
(Dec 26, 1984 – Nov 29, 2018)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved daughter in Toronto at the age of 33 years. She will be deeply missed by her mother Ewa Baines, her stepfather Eric Baines, her sister Caroline Malinowska and her beloved Babcia Halina Malecka. Survived by her father Piotr Malinowski. Cherished by Julie and Derrick Baines, and by Roberta and Dave. She leaves behind her extended family and friends in Poland. She will be dearly missed by many friends, especially Melissa, Zoe and Jonathan. She will also be missed by many colleagues and employees at various Call Centers in Toronto, where she held management positions for many years. Our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to The Toronto Police Department (Division 53—Sgt. Churkoo), Dr. Jennifer Boyd, and Marco Sperduti and the team at Cremation Society. Thank you for your compassionate assistance at the time of our family’s tragic loss. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass Celebrating Joanne’s life will be at St. John Vianney Church at 385 Dieppe Windsor on Thursday, December 13th at 11am. Her final resting place will be at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Joanne’s name may be made to Hiatus House, Women’s Shelter in Windsor.
