Joan Chamberland age 85 of Dartmouth, NS, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2018 at Parkstone Enhanced care in Halifax, NS. Born in Montreal, she was the daughter of the late Mary French and Lorne French. She is survived by her daughter Deena Burke (Stephen) granddaughters Emily Burke and Grace Burke whom she adored as well as her brother John French (Monique) and her sister Catherine Gingras (Michel). She also leaves many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother Frank French (Irene). Cremation has taken place and upon her request, no funeral service will take place.
