Joan Frances Johnson
1920-2018
Peacefully, at
Extendicare Nursing Home, London, on Wednesday, September 12, 2018,
Joan passed away in her 99th year.
Beloved wife of the late Stefan (1965). Loving mother of
Linda (Dirk) De Vries, Eleanor McLay (Doug
Grayson) & Karen (Don) Neale. Cherished grandmother
of Lori, Susan, Sherry, Darren, Michelle, Tami, Brett & their
spouses. Proud great-grandmother 10 great-grandchildren
& 9 great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of
Margaret Weymouth.
Joan was an excellent
cook and avid gardener who travelled the world with her sister
& mother. Joan worked at Baldwin Garments for 25
years.
At Joan’s
request a private graveside gathering was held at Woodland
Cemetery. Donations to the London Humane
Society, londonhumanesociety.ca/help-us/donate/ ,
or the Alzheimer Society, alzheimerlondon.ca/
