Joan Edith Marie Howard
August 18, 1929 – March 30, 2018
Peacefully, surrounded by her family at Hospice Prince Edward on Friday March 30th, 2018. Joan Howard, of Westlake Terrace, formerly of Northport, along with her late beloved husband Peter former owners of Schooner’s Fish and Chips, at the age of 88. Loved mother of June Hughes of Toronto, Gary Nicoll (Dorothy Cole) of Whitby, Greg Howard (Mary) of Deseronto, and the late Roberta Howard. Grandma of Sarah, Cherie, Jason, Hannah, Julian, Sean, Mark and Joanna and great-grandma of many. Dear sister of Loyale, Dorothy, Shirley, Lois, Bobby, Brenda and the late Kenny. A memorial service will be held at the Whattam Funeral Home in the spring – announcement to follow. If desired, donations to the CNIB or Hospice Prince Edward would be appreciated by the family.
