JENSEN, Larry Hebert “Pappy J”
July 4, 1938 — July 1, 2018
Born July 4, 1938 in Kamloops, BC and passed away suddenly on July 1, 2018 from kidney and lung failure at Kelowna General Hospital. Survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Doreen, his daughters Twyla-lea Jensen (Jeff Owens) of Coeur d’Alene, ID and Jeanine Jensen (Shayne Merkley) of Merritt, BC and granddaughter Landyn Jensen Owens.
Larry moved to the Okanagan in 1991 and was a dedicated employee for the Regional District of the Central Okanagan in the Parks department until his retirement. He was a jack of all trades who could fix anything. His had a tenacious personality, was always good for a laugh and loved to tease. He will be remembered as a great husband, father and grandfather who will be truly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
