Obituary of Jennie Zummach
Unexpectedly at home on Saturday, August 4th, 2018, Jennie Pearl Zummach (nee Brando), passed away at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Rick Slater (1987), and the late Hector Zummach (2008). Cherished mother of Wray and Helen Slater, Dianna and Ron Harrett, the late David Slater (2010), and the late Ric Slater (2015). Jennie will be forever remembered by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Missed by her furry friend Quincy, as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at DENNING’S OF CHATHAM (519-352-2390), on Wednesday, August 8th, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm, where the Funeral Service will take place on Thursday morning at 10am. Interment to follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Donations in Jennie’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences may be left at www.chathamfuneralhome.com.
