Obituary of Jennie Mary Hunter
Hunter, Jennie « Mary » Elizabeth – Peacefully on Saturday December 8th, 2018 at the Georgetown Hospital. Mary, in her 76th year, beloved wife of the late Charlie Hunter. Loving mother of Cindy and her husband Joe Filice, John and his wife Kim, Elizabeth Hunter and Cynthia Larsh. Predeceased by her parents Robert Marshall and Mary Ferrier and by her son Howard. Proud grandmother of Jonathan (Jenn), Amanda (Keven), Adam (Lorie-Anne), Joseph, Jenna, Cortney (Chris), Sarah, Tom, Kayla, Joshua, Michael, Nicole and Emile and great-grandmother of Siena, Lara, Zy, Willem, Amelia, Brielle, Oliver, Sophia and Ella. Dear sister of Florence (Jack), Doug (Carol), Jean, Jane (Stan), Bill, Joe, the late Chuck (Marg), the late Margaret (Hugh) and the late Ray (Liz). Mary « Jennie » was a friend to many especially to Maggie, Anne and the Phdabis Team. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Ave., Georgetown, (905) 877-3631 on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday December 13th at 11:00am. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown. In memory contributions to Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
