He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of almost 54 years Maria Wieringa, nee de Weerd, his daughter Mary and Peter Bosman, his daughter Kathy and Rudy de Vries, his son Jim and Rachel Wieringa, and his nineteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren Maria and Craig Salverda (Zachary, Ethan, Micah, Rylan), Melissa and John Schuit (Mitchell, Dawson, Jordanna), Christopher Wieringa, Emma Wieringa, Sarah and Shane Korvemaker (Kayla), Ron and Danielle Bosman, Jonathan de Vries, Derek Wieringa, Laura and Daniel Schoolland, Anne-Marie de Vries, Tina Bosman, Kaitlyn Wieringa, Miriam de Vries, Hannah Bosman, Esther de Vries, Olivia Wieringa, Joelle de Vries, Lydia

The family would like to publicly express its gratitude to the LHIN, Spectrum, Holland Christian Homes, and Grace Manor staff and workers for assisting Jim and Maria during these past few difficult months. Above all as family, we praise our heavenly Father who gave him to us as husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and who now, in his eternal plans, has taken him to himself setting him free from his suffering but more importantly, healing him for all eternity. The family grieves with hope in Jesus’ promise in John 11:25, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die.”
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Jelle Jim Wieringa 2018.
