Jeanne Alyce Moody
1927-2018
Jeanne Moody of Canterbury Hall, Riverview, passed away at
The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, July 26, 2018. Born in Moncton, she
was the daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Dryden)
Trites.
Jeanne was a member of Lewisville Baptist Church, where she
sang in the choir, volunteered and served on many committees. She
spent her last five and a half years living in Canterbury Hall. She
loved everything about her home and the many friends she made. She
enjoyed socializing with people and spent a lot of her time knitting,
most times items for Helping Hands in Canterbury Hall.
She will be dearly missed by her children: Jill
O’Brien (Kevin) of Riverview, Sara Melia (Doug) of Ancaster,
ON., and Bruce (Nancy) of Aurora, ON; her grandchildren: Eric,
Allison, Jack, Erynn, Danny, Adam, Kate and Mya; sister Harriett Smith
(Melvin) of St. Albert, AB; a brother Richard Trites (Margaret) of
Sackville, NB; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her
parents, Jean was predeceased by her husband Donald and sister Nora
Murray.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd.,
Riverview (869-2007) on Sunday from 2-4pm. A celebration of life will
take place at Cobb’s Funeral Home on Monday, July 30, 2018
at 11:00am with Rev. Gordon MacLeod officiating. The interment will
take place in Lakeside Cemetery. Donation can be made in
Jeanne’s memory to Lewisville Baptist Church Building Fund
or Friends of The Moncton Hospital. Online condolences may be
