Obituary of Jeanette Saint
SAINT, Jeanette – It is with great sadness that we the family of our beloved mother announce the passing of Jeanette Hannah Saint of London, on March 2 2018 at the age of 79. With her children by her side she slipped away peacefully in the afternoon at home.
Jeanette was born in Toronto on August 24 1938 to Isadore and Sylvia Kestenbaum (Bella Kestenbaum). She is pre-deceased by her son Steven Saint and the father of her children and friend Thomas Saint. She was a loving mother to her daughter Joanne Saint (John Abray) and two sons Jonathan Saint (Kissha) and their children Elise Laree and Hannah Joset and Daniel Saint (Jessie) and stepson Joel Saint. Dear sister of the late Estelle Teperman. Devoted daughter-in law to the late Doris Saint. Caring Aunt to all of her nieces and nephews.
Jeanette spent the past 40 + years working for John A Meren BA, LL B, retiring this past September with him. Also devoting 30+ years volunteering as Treasurer for Western Region Ringette, being the only founding member left in the organization. That was something she enjoyed so much. She will be missed by many dear friends both in the legal and the Ringette community as well as so many friends that she made over the years.
The celebration of Jeanette’s life as a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend will be held at the Elliott- Madill Funeral Home, Mount Brydges on Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 11:00am to 2:00pm Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers would be greatly appreciated by the family.
