Peacefully at the Wedgewood Manor Summerside on Friday
November 2, 2018 of Jean E. Simmons of Summerside aged 88
years. Born in Summerside, August 1, 1930, daughter of the
late Roy and Blanche (Crozier) Simmons. Wife of Wallace R.
Simmons for 67 years. Mother of Brenda (Jim) Burrell, Gary
(Liz) Simmons, Greg (Sheryl) Simmons and Kathy (Pat)
Gallant. Grandmother of Vanessa Simmons (Luc), Tiffany
Simmons (Mike), Arika (Tim) Greencorn, Amanda (Stephen) Ashley,
Mikayla (Ryan) Paynter, Debra Dawn (Rob) Doucette and Ryan (Denise)
Gallant. Great-grandmother of Max, Sawyer, Jack, Emmy,
Maren, Carson, Ava and Jase. Sister of Robert Simmons (late
Anna Rae), Clara Marrett (late John) and Elmer (Jenny)
Simmons. Sister-in-law of Betty Muggah (late Paul) and
Chrissie Simmons (late Leigh). Also surviving are several nieces and
nephews.
Predeceased by her sisters-in-law and
brothers-in-law Wanda (Larry), Etta (John), Dorothy (Roger), Virginia
(Nelson).
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation
on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. Funeral Monday in the Davison
Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial
Gardens, Pleasant Valley. If so desired contributions may be
made to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Alzheimer
Society.
