Jean-Claude Thibodeau
Thibodeau, Jean-Claude – With sorrow the family announce the death of Jean-Claude Thibodeau at the age of 83 years. Jean-Claude passed away at Englehart and District Hospital, Sunday, June 3, 2018 following a short battle with cancer.
Born at Armstrong Township on the family farm, Jean-Claude was the son of the late Arthur Thibodeau and the late Béatrice Toupin.
Survived by his loving wife Doris [Gingras] and sadly missed by his children: Anne Thibodeau [André Robert], Luc Thibodeau, Denis Thibodeau [Joyce Boom], Lyne Thibodeau, Sylvie Thibodeau, Josée [Ian] Auger and Shawn Savarie [Stacy]. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren: Chelsie McKnight [Jim Thanos], Cole McKnight [Stephanie Locke], Alaya Robert, Joslyn Thibodeau, Alexandre Thibodeau, Maxim Clairoux, Joséane Clairoux, Carissa Shackleton [Thomas], Samantha Auger [Dillon Demarell], Janet, Mackenzie, Quinn and Khenan Savarie. Also survived by his sisters: Thérèse Thibodeau, Yolande Charlebois [Robert] and Jeanne D’Arc « Jano » Thibodeau. Predeceased by his siblings: Raymond and Armande Thibodeau.
Cremation has taken place at Lakeview Crematorium. A private memorial mass will be held at a later date from St-Jean Baptiste Church in Earlton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Englehart and District Hospital Palliative Care Program will be greatly appreciated.
