The Lord, at His appointed time, and in the full assurance of faith took home His child, Jane Van Andel, a resident of Shalom Manor, Grimsby, to be with Him on December 10, 2018 in her 91st year. A long-time resident of Chatham, Jane was born in Groningen, the Netherlands on February 24, 1928 and immigrated to Canada in 1954. She is predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Cornelis Van Andel (May 2018) and is survived by her children Roland and Janice… Read More » Van Andel, John and Irene Van Andel, Richard and Audrey Gritter, all of Ancaster and Ed and Bernice Eikelboom of Byford, W. Australia. Also survived by 21 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Beloved sister and sister-in-law of Marten † (Janny †), Stien † (Freek †), Bonne †, Ali † (Gerrit †), Ge (Jur †), Mein (Jan †), Albert † (Lien †), Iet (Jan), Wieger †, Henk † (Alie) and Jan (Elly †). Dear sister-in-law to Audrey †(John †) Vanderveen, Koen † (Ann) Van Andel, and George †(Grace) Van Andel. Visitation will be held D.V. at CORNERSTONE CANADIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 353 Stonechurch Rd. E., Hamilton on Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. where a Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 11 a.m. Rev. John Louwerse officiating. Reception to follow. A private family interment will take place at Mt. Hamilton Cemetery prior to the Memorial Service.
