VAN VEEN, Jan F.A. (“Arnold”)-
1923-2018
Our family is saddened to announce that Arnold passed away peacefully on Friday, August 17, 2018. He was predeceased by his parents Koos and Paula and by his loved granddaughter Janessa (2012). Arnold is survived by his loving wife Mary and children Paul (Linda), Dirk (Kathie), Janet (Howie), Carolyn (Gino), David (Daniela), and Carl. Much loved Grandpa of Mandy (Ken), Derek (Kristy), Kris (Chantelle), Steven (Whitney), Lauren (Matt), Morgan, Daniel, Callum, and Alisa. Proud great-Grandpa to Spencer, Cooper, Karleigh, and Parker. Our heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Clarion Nursing Home for their exceptional care of Arnold during his stay. Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Arnold’s Life will be held at the Powerhouse Restaurant (21 Jones Street, Stoney Creek) on Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. Donations in memory of Arnold to The Ewings Cancer Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated: 72 Rockport Cres., Richmond Hill, Ontario, L4C 2L8.
