Obituary for Janet Kennedy
Peacefully at the Parisien Manor on Saturday, April 7, 2018. Janet Kennedy of Cornwall, formerly of Alexandria and Montreal, age 94 years. Predeceased by all her siblings; Paul (Martha), Joe (Marjorie), Mary Ann McPhail (late Michael), Corbett (Kathleen), Archie (Frances), Theresa Kennedy, Sheila Kennedy, infant brother Ambrose and infant sister Mary Helen. Dear daughter of the late Allen Alexander “Sandy” Kennedy and the late Julia May MacMillan. Janet will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. Alexandria (525-2772) on Wednesday April 11, 2018 from 7 to 9 pm and on Thursday from 9 to 10 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Finnan’s Cathedral at 10:30 am on Thursday April 12, 2018. Spring interment in the Parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Janet a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows-memories live.
