With much sadness the family of Betty Symes announces her peaceful passing on September 23, 2018.
Betty was born in Lawson Saskatchewan on February 10, 1933, to Stewart and Helen McConnell. After completion of training in Calgary, AB Betty worked as a nursing aide in Collingwood, ON before moving to Rimbey, AB where she met her husband Spike. Betty is lovingly remembered by her four children, one daughter-in-law, eleven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, brothers and sisters, and other relatives. The family wishes to expresses their sincere gratitude to Dr. Sunil Datar, and the entire staff of Glastonbury Village for their kindness, support and care shown to Betty over the past six years.
