He will keep on trucking, all the way to heaven. It’s with great sadness we announce that Jamie Hansen passed away at the Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton on March 14, 2018 at 57 years of age. Jamie was a best friend and beloved husband to Joan Hansen (Howat) for 35 years. Loving father to daughters Katie Stein (Luis) of Ayr, Jillian Hansen (Miles) of Peterborough, Carly Csöff (Rick) of Delhi and son Cory Hansen (Malorie) of Toronto. Caring Grampy to grandson Eden and grandpuppy Frank. Son of Carl and Dorothy Hansen of Penetanguishene and brother to Brad and Paula Hansen. Son-in-Law to Maddie Howat of Paris. Brother-in-law and uncle to many nieces and nephews across the globe.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the DWAYNE D. BUDGELL Funeral Home. In accordance with Jamie’s expressed wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Prostate Cancer Canada (www.prostatecancer.ca) or the Ontario Provincial Parks (www.ontarioparks.com/donate) in Jamie’s memory, would be appreciated by the family.
