James Boyd ~ Peacefully at Huronlea, Brussels on Monday, November 12, 2018, Mr. James Vernon Boyd, formerly of Listowel, in his 90th year.
Husband of Jean (Smith) Boyd. Father of Doug & Bonnie Boyd of Kurtzville, and Connie & David Jacobson of Goderich. Grandfather of Jodey & Roger Roland of Listowel, Steven & Linda Boyd of Fordwich, Jason Jacobson of Calgary, AB, Paul & Kathy Jacobson of Port Albert, and Crystal Jacobson of Bright. Great-grandfather of Vanessa, Lauren, Tyler, Wyatt, Wade, Molly, Emily, Caden, and Jordan, and great-great-grandfather of Quinton. Brother of Bill & Shirley Boyd of Point Clark, Larry & Jane Boyd of Miller Lake, Pat & Marie Boyd of Hepworth, and Carolyn Yundt of Stratford, and brother-in-law of Lois & Bob Meuller of Monkton, Beatrice & Stewart Noble of Listowel, and Audrey Newton of Mildmay.
Predeceased by his brother Jack Boyd, and son Brian Ross Boyd in infancy.
Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel on Friday, November 16th at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
