Jim passed away peacefully on December 14, 2018 at the age of 84. Beloved husband and friend of Bonnie for 51 years. Devoted father of Laurence (Michelle Hong), and Fiona. Cherished grandfather of Ciara and Declan. Survived by brothers Leonard, Leo, Clarence and Gerard. Predeceased by brothers Edward, Ronald, and his sister Margaret. Dearly missed by friends, family, nieces and nephews throughout Canada, the US and Ireland. The family wishes to thank all the PSWs from Bayshore, especially Samantha, Hilary, Breanna, Sarah and Alicia. Also nurse Rhojani from Care Partners, all of whom enabled Jim to have home care. Thank you to Amanda from the LHIN and a special thank you to our family doctor for over forty years, Dr. Stafford Dobbin, for the excellent care provided to Jim. As per Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to call at the Patterson Funeral Home, 6062 Main Street, Niagara Falls on Wednesday December 19, 2018 from 11 am to 1 pm with a chapel service to follow.
