Spencer grew up and attended school in Mayerthorpe, AB. Following high school, Spencer moved to Chetwynd, BC. Spencer was a devoted father and hard worker who was skilled in mechanics and heavy equipment operation.
He loved the outdoors and could often be found spending time with his children, working on projects around home, camping, hunting and fishing. Spencer loved his family and friends, no time together came without jokes, laughter and teasing. He had a likable personality and would strike up a conversation with total strangers, and end up with a new friend.

Predeceased by his grandparents, Rene and Alice.
Honouring his generous nature, Spencer’s organs were donated so that others might benefit and Spencer’s spirit lives on. He had a very kind heart, a big laugh and positive personality and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, 26 May at 2:00 PM, at Anselmo Hall, Hwy 647 and Range Road 102, Anselmo. Reverend Ruth Lotholz officiating. In lieu of floral tributes, donations would be gratefully accepted for a Trust Fund being created for Spencer’s children’s education
