James McGillivray
January 20, 1942 – November 27, 2018
McGillivray, James (Jim) – It is with great sadness the family announces his passing at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal on Tuesday November 27, 2018 at the age of 76. Loving father of Brent and Kelly McGillivray and grandfather of Zachary, Rylie, Joshua and Taylor. Dear brother of Robert (Lillian) and Carole Crites (Donald). Jim will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Malcom and Elizabeth (Copithorne) McGillivray and his brother Wallace (Patricia) McGillivray.
In keeping with Jim’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in the Spring of 2019. Care and cremation services have been entrusted to the care of the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Condolences may be left at mjohnsullivanfuneralhome.com
