James « Jim » Thompson of R.R.# 2 Proton Station, Ontario
March 5, 1941 – May 29, 2018
Passed away at Chapman House, Owen Sound, surrounded by his family on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. James Allan Thompson of R.R.# 2 Proton Station in his 78th year.
Beloved husband of Burniece (nee Wilson). Dear father of Connie Thompson and her husband Albert Tiraborelli of Proton Station. Cherished grandfather of Todd and Haley Tiraborelli. Sadly missed by sisters Ila Pendleton of Goring, Ruth Brown of Flesherton and Alice Pendleton (Bill) of Eugenia. Also survived by sisters-in-law of Helen Thompson of Rocklyn, and Nancy (Henry Riemersma).
Predeceased by brothers Les Thompson, Laverne Thompson, Lloyd (Annie) Thompson and sister Elsie (Alburn).
A Celebration of Life will be held at Country Gospel Church, Hwy 10 & Southgate Sideroad 24, on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 1:30 p.m., with Pastor Lynn Merriam officiating.
If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Chapman House would be appreciated by the family.
