Jim passed away peacefully at the Royal Alexandra Hospital on December 29, 2018, at the age of 83.
He is forever in the hearts of his family: son Jayme (Leslie) and their sons, Liam, Sean and Rhys; daughter Kelly (Austin) Willis and their son Tyler; son Dennis (Theresa) and their daughters, Melissa and Megan; Casey (Leanne) and their daughters, Abbegail and Maddesyn; siblings, Marjorie Blair, Malcolm (Lucy) and Mary Agnes (David) Clarke; numerous relatives and friends.
Jim was predeceased by his beloved wife, Rita; brother Jack (Sheila); and brother-in-law Don Blair.
Special thanks to the staff at the Robbins Pavilion, Rosedale Griesbach and all who took care of Jim over the years.
A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Connelly- McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.
