Whitfield,
James Edward (Veteran WW II)
James Edward Whitfield of Niagara-on-the-Lake, passed away on Monday, September 10th,
2018 at the Sunnybrook Veterans Hospital. He was 96.
Born in Englishtown, Cape Breton, he was a pipe fitter and a retired employee at
Abitibi Paper, Thorold. He was a Second World War veteran.
He is survived by his Son, Les, Les’ Wife, Daniella and their Son, Josef.
A Memorial Service in Ted’s memory will be held on Sunday, September 16 at The
Salvation Army, 400 Niagara St., St Catharines at 4 pm.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Out of the Cold Program,
c/o Start Me Up Niagara.
