James Edward Major
In Loving Memory of Mr. James Edward Major
February 23, 1940 to May 31, 2018
With great sorrow, the family announces his death at the Lady Minto Hospital, Cochrane, Ontario, at the age of 78.
He leaves behind to mourn his wife Helen (nee Page) Major, his children Grant Major, Susie Major (Guy Tessier), John Major, and Alfred Major, his three grand-daughters whom he cherished: Samantha, Erica and Alysa, his four great-grandchildren whom he adored: Austin, Kayleigh, Benjamin and Shane.
Mr. Major was predeceased by his parents John Major and Martha (nee Fraser) Wall and by his stepfather Gordon Wall.
Staying with his wishes, there will be no service and cremation will take place.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
