Jacqueline M Farrell
t is with great sadness that the family of Jacqueline Farrell (Rocan) passed away March 8, 2018 with loving family by her side. She is survived by daughters Terry (Bob) Ruczak, Lynda (Ron) Jaworski and Son, Tom (Cheryl) Farrell. Grandchildren, Chris, Matthew, Daniel, April (Zack) of Leesburgh, Virginia, Dylan (Destiny) Jaworski, Kalei (David), Leia, Melissa (Rian) Powers, Ashley, Amber (Cameron), Cody, Great grandchildren, Shelby, Lliam, Kaydan Remus, Quinn and Evan. She was so very proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, enjoyed and looked forward to their visits. Siblings Louise (Bert) Sicotte, Janet Rocan, Paul (Diane) Rocan of Virden, Gerry (Colette) Rocan, sister-in-law Jackie Dawes, nieces and nephews, cousins and aunts. Also survived by brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Nieces and nephews in Ontario and Alberta. Jackie had many special friends. For Jackie family and friends were an important part of her life. She was always concerned about how they were doing. They each had a special place in her heart.
Jackie met the love of her life Tom at 16 years. They married July 25, 1959. Sadly Tom passed away March 15, 1989 she missed him so very much. She was predeceased by parents Max Rocan 1972, Therese (Allard) 1999, brother Denis 1986, niece Heather 2011 and other special family and friends.
Mom was a fighter as she faced her many challenges with Multiple Sclerosis over many years. Dad helped her with this huge challenge by problem solving how to overcome each obstacle they faced. From the day she came home in a wheelchair, resisting it every step of the way, and finally giving in to using it in 1976. That first day Mom bumped into a wall with the wheelchair. The next day Dad removed that wall. Making a ramp at Bird River to get down the hill. There was always laughter and humor as they overcame each obstacle.
