A truly wonderful, loving, supportive and hardworking woman passed away at 87 years of age, on Wednesday, November 7th, 2018.
Beloved wife and soul mate of the late Gerry Vandersanden (2017). Loving mother of Anna (Kevin), Kathy (Greg), Carol, Jenny (Dan), Jacques (Tammy), John (Michelle), Gerry, Judy (Tony), Beans (Chrissy), Brian (Tammy), Beth (Tom). Cherished Oma to Sarah, Amy; David, Stephen; Mike, Jantje, Aniek, Frankie; Chris, Jay, Janet, Lee, Julie; Jamie, Shane, Nathan, Brittney, Courtney, Amanda, Karlie; Holly, Alicia, Samantha, Nicole, Johnny, Bradley; Olivia, Ali, Nick; Greg, Megan, Dan, Willy; Linda, Bethy, Emily, Kelsey, Jessie, Kurtis; Ethan, Madison, Eric, Taylor, Jared; Rob, Katie and Laura; and Great Oma to Jenny, Meghan Rain, Pillar, Whisper, Charlotte, Daniel, Scotland; Anthony, Mckenzie, Paizlea, Harlan; Dillon, Dalton, Alyssa, Wesley, Paige, Charleigh, Blake, Tyler, Dawson, Eden; Gage, Gabriel, Jaclyn, Abigail, Annabelle, Layla, Ezra; Chloe, Cameron, Darren, Lucas, Darius, Abbie, Mason, Bailee; Hailey, Erin, Patrick and Connor. Predeceased by Great grand-daughter Ellie. Dear sister of Nellie (deceased), Joe, Gerrard (deceased), Ton, Willie and Carla. Visitation will take place at COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL 1587 Highway 2, Courtice (905-432-8484) on Sunday, November 18th, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Prayers will be held at 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church (690 King St E., Oshawa) on Monday, November 19th, at 11:00 am.
