Jack was only six years old when his Dad gave him a boat and motor to go fishing and help with the pond nets. It kindled his love of The Lake of the Woods, later making his living on a trap line, hunting and fishing. Jack spent most of his life guiding fishing tours on Lake of the Woods. He could always be counted on to make sure that you would catch some fish and have a good time. He was blessed that he got paid to do the things he loved the most. We that are left behind will mourn our loss but where ever he might be there will be a sign; Gone Fishing.
A Memorial gathering will be held at the Community Centre in Sioux Narrows on September 15th from 3pm to 6pm to remember and share all the memories of our Dad, brother, grand-pa, great grandpa, and friend.
