Blatta, Jack
Jack passed away peacefully in his sleep at Ridge Meadows Hospital on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018. Predeceased by his parents, sister June and brother Joe and in 1995 his daughter Cindy Blatta. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Lee Blatta, currently residing at Baillie House; his two daughters Leslie Lynn Blatta & Wendy (Ken) Kukkonen all residing in Maple Ridge. He lived his life serving others, as an RCMP member, a bylaw enforcement officer, and an insurance adjuster. A proud and caring man, Jack loved his family, his many friends and his golf. He was a passionate gardener and a skilled handyman and carpenter. He had a great sense of humour. Jack will be deeply missed and never forgotten. He did not want a funeral service. We would especially like to thank the Ridge Meadows Hospital staff from emergency, to 3 West and 2 West, for such wonderful and caring attention to our parents. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honour to the Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation.
