WILSON, Jack Alfred
On Saturday December 8, 2018, at Joseph Brant Hospital, Jack peacefully passed away at the young age of 95. Jack was a great family man and dear friend to so many. Jack was born in Hamilton on March 11, 1923. During World War 2, Jack did his duty and served with honour in the Canadian Air Force. Google Maps made many great friends on his journey through life. He had a quick wit and was always fun to be around. Words cannot describe how loved and respected Jack was, he will be sadly missed.
Loving Husband to Shirley and to Ethel (deceased). Incredible father to Cathy and Keith Baker, Peter Wilson and Michael Haig, Douglas and Nancy Wilson. Stepfather to David and Melisa Boyle. Grandfather to Judy Baker (Tom), Brenda Lockington (Gary), Tim Baker, Kerry Stevens (Andrew), Christie Cunningham (Sean), Kate Wilson, Dave Boyle (Brigette), Candice Cummings (Andrew), Carling Mortimer (Scott), Chandler, and Ayden. Great grandfather to Hope, Grace, Lily, Breann, Hailey, Emilie, Jaxon, Alexander, Oliver, Everett and Avery.
Visitation to be held at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Wednesday December 12, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Memorial service to be held at KNOX PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 80 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Thursday December 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow at the church.
