Obituary of Ivy Phillips
Passed tragically away on Sept. 11, 2018 at Thorburn Lake, NL, Ivy Jean Phillips (Saunders) at the age of 76 years. Mrs. Phillips retired from Riff’s Limited and was a member of Windsor Pentecostal Church, Rebekah Lodge #65. She was predeceased by her parents: Lewis and Melena Saunders; husband, William (Bill); grandchildren: Emily, Hannah, Noah and Hayden Bishop; brothers: William, Harold, Harvey, Eli, Roy; sister Audrey Blundon; sister-in-law, Roma Saunders; brother-in-law, Arch Blundon. She leaves to mourn her daughter Gail (Glenn) Gilsborg and one grandson William Bishop, also her furry friends Tank and Rudy. Also her brothers Von Saunders and Ivan (Shirley) Saunders; sisters-in-law Marie Saunders and Sylva Saunders and a circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Robert Parsons will conduct the funeral service at Windsor Pentecostal Church on Sunday, Sept. 16 at 2 p.m. with interment at the Pentecostal Cemetery. Pallbearers are William Bishop, Glenn Gilsborg, Les Pippy, Duane Greene, Gerald Greene and Kelly Smith.
