Obituary for Iva Palmer
Iva, whose life journey is now complete. Passed away peacefully at Victoria Manor surrounded by the love of her girls on December 1st, 2018 at the age of 99, in her 100th year. Greeting Iva in heaven with open arms is her beloved husband Fred (2008), her forever love and soulmate.
Loving mother of Ruth Hall, dear Grandmother of Melissa Hall, and Courtney Paterson who is as much of a Granddaughter to her in every way. Iva will be sadly missed, but forever remembered and cherished by her « GIRLS ».
Iva is the daughter of Daniel and Martha Johnson (both predeceased)
Sister of Stella (Stewart), Cassie, Doris (Pat), Eileen (Calvin), and Gerald (Phyllis) (all predeceased).
Sister-in-law of Nelson and Helen Palmer (both predeceased)
Iva will be lovingly cherished and sadly missed my her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on December 12th from 12:00 p.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. A family interment will take place in the Spring at the Little Britain United Church Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Community Care City of Kawartha Lakes or a charity of your choice via cheque at the funeral home or online at www.mackeys.ca
