ISIDRO GUTIERREZ SR.
With heavy hearts, the family would like to announce the sudden passing of our husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend Isidro Rimocal Gutierrez Sr.
He is survived by his beloved wife Luisa; children Ryan (Shirley), Bernadette, Marilou (Lee), Isidro Jr. and Idrey; and grandchildren Roman, Stella, Ariana and Malia. He also leaves behind his mother, Marcelina Rimocal Gutierrez, and his siblings; Regino (Remy), Nelia (Amor), Cading, Fe, Larry (Mina), Floring (Edgar), Sally (Jun), Gavino (Carol), Junior (Baby), Jojo (Merly), Felix (Vhee) and many nephews, nieces and friends. He is predeceased by his father, Florencio Gutierrez Sr and wife, Elsie Mendoza Gutierrez.
Isidro was born in Guimba, Neuva Ecija Philippines and came to Canada in 1973. Upon immigrating, he worked at Motor Coach Industries for 30 plus years. He loved spending time with his wife, kids, grandchildren, family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, watching sports, biking, gardening, and spending time at his cabin in St. Malo with family and friends.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the medical staff at Seven Oaks General Hospital for their compassionate care.
Lamay will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 7:00 p.m., Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at St. Peters Church, 748 Keewatin Street. Reception will follow at Glen Lawn Reception Centre.
