Obituary of Isabel Sullivan
Peacefully at Lee Manor in Owen Sound, on Thursday, February 1st, 2018. Margaret Isabel Sullivan (nee Knechtel), of Owen Sound, at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Bob Sullivan. Loving step-mother of Kris McConnell (John) and Kathleen Sullivan (Bob Bauer), both of Michigan. Loving step-grandmother of Riane. Dear sister of Mary Knechtel and sister-in-law of John Todd, both of Owen Sound. Loving aunt of Dave Todd (Joanne), of Owen Sound and Anne Todd (Steve Harper), of Newmarket and great-aunt of Kevin Todd (Georgia Black), of Guelph and Emily Todd, of Toronto. Predeceased by her parents, Gordon and Katherine Knechtel; her brother, Mac Knechtel; her sister, Catherine Todd. Isabel’s warmth and generosity touched her family, friends and many people in her nursing career. Although later years robbed her of her memory, she maintained her sense of humour. Warm sincere thanks to Dr. Van Zyl and the staff of 3-North at Lee Manor for their excellent care.
A Private Family Service for Isabel Sullivan will be held at a later date. Spring interment in Southampton Cemetery.
