KETCHESON, Isabel Lucy (nee Sanders)…passed away peacefully at her residence (Island Park) on Thursday, June 7th, 2018, in her 95th year. Loving wife of the late William Ketcheson and daughter to the late George & Reta Sanders. Isabel will always be loved and missed by her children Rick (Evelyn), Dennis (Janice), Darlene (Wayne), and Valerie (Rob). She also will be fondly missed by her grandchildren Sonya (Jim), Angeline (Dennis), Kevin, Darcy (Adrianne), Dion (Dana), Joel (Laura),… Read More » and Lee (Nicki) and her great-grandchildren Taylor, Shelby, Mackenzie, Skye, Sydney, Isabella, Evelina, Payton, Rosalie, and Sawyer. Isabel is survived by her sister Marion (Glen), brother Steve, and sister-in-law Thelma. She is predeceased by her sister Bernice and sister-in-law Liz. Isabel was a life time resident of Campbellford. Quilting was one of her main passions. She was instrumental in forming « The Northumberland Arts & Crafts », which gave back to the community. Isabel also had local woman that joined her quilting class and all quilts made were donated to the Woman’s Shelters. Together with her husband they owned and operated « Bill’s Bait Shop ». She loved time spent with all her grandchildren. She enjoyed bowling for many years. A motto she lived by – Our lives are like quilts: bits & pieces , joy & sorrow, stitched with love. A funeral service for Isabel will be held at the Weaver Life Centre, 77 Second St., Campbellford on Tuesday, June 12th, 2018 at 1:00p.m. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
