It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wes after a two year battle with cancer at the age of 39. Born and raised in Chilliwack, Wes was a passionate man who loved life and showed love and kindness to everyone around him. West was an avid hunter, loved archery, fishing and trapping. He will be greatly missed by his wife Mieke; two daughters Abby and Jane; brother Jason (Leanne); father George; Mieke’s parents and siblings and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Trudy last year. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 2nd at 2:30 p.m. at Chilliwack Central Community Church, 46100 Chilliwack Central Road.
