Iride Paolini
After a short courageous battle with cancer it is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother Iride « Nonna » Paolini. She is now reunited with her late husband of 50 years Luigi Paolini (2005). Iride was a faithful women who was devoted first and foremost to her family, cherished mother to Enzo (Donna) and Filippo (Sharon). Adored Nonna to Alicia (Greg), Devon, and Logan. Sister to the late Valentino (Irma), Derna (Late Elmo), Maria (Nevio) of Italy. Sister-in-law to the Paolo (Tina) of Italy, and predeceased by Lino (Rosie) of Germany. Iride will be greatly missed many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours especially Rosa and Salvatore. Iride was Nonna to all who knew and loved her. She was a professional baker who loved to bake cookies and cakes for all her family and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Janisse Funeral Home 1139 Ouellette Ave 519-253-5225 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave) at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2018. Entombment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Alzheimer Society and Connection’s Early Years Family Centre.
