Weiss-Webb, Irene, (nee Gottfried) passed away peacefully with family at her side at the Southampton Hospital on Monday May 21, 2018, at the age of 91. Loving mother of Larry (Sandra) Kurt of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Marion (Gord) Koepke of Owen Sound, Bob Weiss of Cambridge, Muriel (Alan) Praught of Kitchener, Robert (Leonie) Kurt of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; and Ken Weiss of Kitchener. Proud Grandmother of Lisa, Lori, Jesse, Derek, Brian, David, Mark, Jeff, Chris, Mike, Lisa and Crystal. Caring and loving great grandmother of 18 and great great grandmother of 3. Auntie Irene will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Jacob & Marion (nee Gibbons) Gottfried, her husbands Charlie Kurt, Calvin Weiss, and Stanley Webb, and by her siblings, Mildred, Norval, Harvey, Stuart, Allan, Bill, Emerie, Mervyn, and Douglas. Irene will be remembered for bringing smiles and laughter to everyone that she met. Sincere appreciation is extended to Dr. David Billings, and to the many nurses and staff at the Southampton Hospital for their care and support. A Service to Celebrate the Life of Irene will be held at the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton on Thursday May 24, 2018 at 3p.m. with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. A Committal Service will be conducted at Memory Gardens, 2723 Victoria St N, Breslau, ON, on Friday May 25th at 1p.m. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
