At the Palace Long Term Care, Alexandria on Friday, June 29, 2018. Irene D. Quenneville (nee Carriere) of Alexandria; age 89 years. Beloved mother of André (Marion), Robert (Christiane), Denis (Linda), Diane (Michel), Sue, Helene (Yves), Rejean (Lynn), Jacques, and Nicole (Patrick). Dear sister of Leonide (Francine), Laurette Couturier (Bertrand), Rose Vinet (Denis), and Claire Leclerc (Claude) all of Quebec. Predeceased by four brothers Léo (Gisèle of Quebec), Donat, George (Louisette of Quebec), and Arthur (Irene of Quebec), and by her parents Wilfrid and Lillian Carriere (nee Pilon). Also survived by many grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Saturday from 9:30 am -10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Église Sacré-Coeur on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Irene a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
