Irene May Rutledge (Orton)
November 9, 1920 – December 17, 2018
Peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital, at the age of 98. Irene May Rutledge, pre-decreased by her husband Jack Clemenger Rutledge. Cherished Aunt to nieces Garrie (Glen) Joyce, Judy Latremoille, Susan (Robert) Merkley, Lynne (Larry) MacMillan, Christine Thomas (Gerry) Derouin, Barbara Richardson and Nancy Finn.
Funeral and Interment to be held in late spring early summer 2019.
The family would like to thank the Duke of Devonshire Retirement Residence for their support and care of Irene for the past 4 years and especially the direct care staff for their compassion and dedication. Also, to Dr. Deidre Young, family physician and the Emergency Department of the Civic for their much appreciated support.
In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of one’s choosing would be appreciated.
