Irene Foster (Nash)
Passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 14, 2018 in her 85th year, at McNally House Hospice with family at her bedside. Predeceased by her husband Alan (2015). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Colin, Graeme (Barbara) and Judith deJong (Chuck). Cherished grandmother of Aaron (Katie), Adam, Pauline Edwards (Tim), Leanne Hughes (Peter) and Scott deJong (Christy). Beloved Great-grandmother of Noah, Eli, Gemma, Maddie, Oliver and soon to arrive baby Hughes. Dear sister of Audrey Long (the late Barry) and sister-in-law of John Foster (Norma). Irene will be fondly remembered by her much loved nieces, nephews and also her friends in England and Canada. Cremation and a private family graveside service at Grimsby Mountain Cemetery have taken place. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. with a Service of Remembrance at the Funeral Home on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to McNally House Hospice or Faith Mission of Canada would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
