In Loving Memory
CIROCCO, Irene – Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Welland Hospital on Monday November 5th, 2018 in her 93rd year. Loving wife of Jim for 72 years. Devoted mother to Joy Volpatti (Frank), Jane D’Amico, Joe (Debi) and mother-in-law to Don Kennedy (Laurie). Proud grandmother of Jayne, Jennifer, Michael, James, Ashley, Michael, Kevin, Lauren, Kristen and Nathan and great-grandmother of 9 great-grandchildren. Survived by her brother-in-law Reno (Tina) and many nieces and nephews. Irene was predeceased by her daughter Gloria Kennedy and son-in-law Dan D’Amico. She was the last of her 4 siblings, predeceased by her brothers Louis and Frank and sister Ethel. Irene was a long-time member of Sts. Peter & Paul Church and the Rosary Society. She will always be remembered for her devotion to her family. She valued the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Wednesday from 3-7 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Parish Community of St. Kevin Thursday at 10 a.m. The Rite of Committal will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial donations to Sts. Peter & Paul Church or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
