Indra Bhalla was a beloved mother, wife, and sister. She was a kind woman who worked hard to give everything to her family. She was very hospitable and social, always ensuring that her guests felt welcomed. Indra was born in India and moved to Canada with her family in 2000.
Indra was incredibly independent and strong willed. Her strength was an example to all who knew her. She stood by her opinion in spite of adversity. Indra was a devoted member of the Punjabi Christian Church of Calgary and spent much of her spare time in service there.
Her battle with cancer was long and difficult but she fought until the end. Indra is survived by her two sons, Saurabh and Amit; her husband, Kamal; her two brothers, Satish and Roshan Lal; her four sisters, Toshi, Kunti, Guddi, and Sweetie. She also leaves behind her many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
