Ina (Kay)’s Obituary
Passed peacefully away at Long Term Care, Corner Brook, on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the age of 84 years. Born to Ernest and Ann Maria Jackson on September 15, 1933. She leaves to mourn her husband of over 62 years, George G. Hardy, five daughters; Judy (Eugene Kendall), Joan (Clarence Harris), Janice (Lorne Pike), Karen (Robert Costello) and Linda (Bill Fraser): twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Also leaves to mourn her sister Mary (Glenn) McLean, brother James (Gladys) Jackson, sister’s in law Myrtle Chaulk, Dianne (Jim) Anderson, Rayleen Sheaves, Sandra Hardy; brother in law Abram Best as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by brother, Clarence (Elizabeth) Jackson, sisters: Ada Best, Nellie (William) Brockway, brothers in law: Reginald Hardy, Sidney Chaulk, Ronald Sheaves and grandson Andrew Costello. Friends and family may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, on Friday, May 25, 2018 from the hours of 2-4 pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 11 am from the Country Haven Chapel with Archbishop Percy Coffin officiating. Interment of ashes to follow at a later date. Special thank you to all staff members at Long Term Care 4 South, Restorative Care and Dr. Westby for their kindness, care and support shown to Kay and her family.
