It is with great sorrow that the family of Hughie John Robertson announces his passing on September 22, 2018, at the age of 53.
Hughie John was born October 8, 1964 in Berens River, Manitoba. He worked at the airport as a weather observer, a commercial fisherman, and a retail business owner throughout his life. Hughie was predeceased by his beloved wife, Verla, his father, Hughie, and his mother Gemma.
Hughie will be lovingly remembered by his children Brittany (Tyler), Amber (Leo), Chase, Leah, Kateri, John, and his sister Margaret (Lester). Hughie will also be fondly remembered by his sister-in-law’s Andrea, Carolyn (Huey), Bonnie, and brother-in-law Wendell, nieces and nephews, and close friends.
Wake Services will be held at Eternal Grace Funerals in Winnipeg, at 1111 Logan Avenue, on September 26, 2018 at 7:30 PM.-Midnight Wake services will continue at Berens River Catholic Church on Thursday September 27 and Friday September 28 at 7:30 PM
Funeral will be held at the Berens River Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment Berens River.
