1931-2018
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Hughes on February 8, 2018. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Grace and her son Randy. She will be greatly missed by her children Corinne (Bob), Kenneth, Glenn (Lorraine), her grandchildren Geoffrey (Nadia), Courtney (Silviu), Sean (Jamie) and her great-grandchildren Jacob, Lily, Abigail and Jazper. Mary worked in the travel industry for many years. She had a passion for travel and toured the world. Eventually she opened her own very successful travel agency, Destination Hughes in Pointe-Claire. She was also very proud of her Irish heritage and was known to enjoy singing an Irish song or two.
The family is extremely grateful for the care and love that Mary received from the staff at CHSLD Bayview over the last years of her life.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
