Peacefully at Extendicare Oshawa with his wife by his side on Sunday, June 10, 2018 in his 86th year Jack went to be with his Lord and Saviour. Beloved husband of Joan née Barr for 63 years. Loving, faithful father of Brian (Lori), David (Marlene) and predeceased by Beverly. Devoted brother-in-law of Frances Barr. Treasured grandpa of Amanda (Wade), Joshua, Taylor, Caleb and great-grandpa of Georgia. Cherished brother of Margaret, Dianne, Larry (Sharon), Gayle (Wayne), Shirley, Lillian and Tom (Zabia). Predeceased by Doug, Barbara (Ken), Ruth (Ray), Cater and Robert and brother-in-law of Violet and Heather. Jack will be sadly missed by Laurie, Christina and Matthew Baker, as well as many extended family friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend The 301 Campus (of Calvary Church), 301 Rossland Road East, Oshawa, on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Thornton Cemetery, 1200 Thornton Rd. N., Oshawa.
