Hildegund (Gundi) Regina Buchholz
Born April 19 in Germany, Gundi passed away on June 1, 2018 in Edmonton at the age of 83.
She is survived by her brother Karl Heinz (Germany), daughter Andrea, her son-in-law Glen Noble, and her fur grandchildren whom she adored. She was predeceased by her parents Karl and Gertrude, sister Traudel, husband Wolfgang, and her son Peter (a loss in her life that she never recovered from).
Gundi fought Alzheimer’s Disease to the very end with her trademark stubbornness and love for a good fight. She is now at peace, with her loved ones that have passed on before her.
Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at a future date in Dartmouth, where she will be reunited with her son and husband.
