Obituary for Hilda Coughtry (McLouglin)
Passed away peacefully at Wellington House on Tuesday, January 30, 2018. Hilda Martha Coughtry (McLoughlin) at the age of 94 years. Wife of loving husband, the late Harvey Coughtry. Lovingly remembered by her children, Lillian (Gord), Steven (Lynne) and Doug (Lisa). Dear Gramma to Kathy (Heath), Craig (Diane), Christopher (Candice), Catie (Domonick) and Jennie. Will be missed by her great grandchildren, Kristina and Dylan. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and their families overseas, including her homeland of Northern Ireland. Survived by her sister-in-law Ethel McLoughlin in Wales. Predeceased by her dear son, Dennis Bannan as well as by her brothers and sisters, Rodney, Sammy, Dot, Edith, Jim, Johnston, Fergie, Cooper and their spouses. Also predeceased by her parents Thomas and Harriette McLoughlin.
Hilda’s family wishes to thank Rose Blanchette, Julie Streska and the Wellington House staff for their care and compassion. At Hilda’s request, there will be no visitation. A graveside service and Celebration of Life will take place at a later date with arrangements entrusted to Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James St. E., Brockville.
