Obituary for
Hilda « Marie » Evans
It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Hilda “Marie” Evans announces her passing. Marie passed away from the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Friday, June 29th, 2018 at the age of 79 years.
Predeceased by her parents – Wesley and Catherine Pardy; parents-in-law – Clayton and Hazel Evans; siblings – Warrick Pardy (Mildred), Wallace Pardy (Betty) and Hilda Noble (Lester); siblings-in-law – Stanley Evans and Edward Evans.
Left to cherish a lifetime of wonderful memories are her husband of 62 years, Cecil Truence Evans; children – Beverly Head (Jeff), Pauline Hesselgrave, Terry Evans, Trevor Evans (Sharon), Jonathan Evans (Jennifer) and Lorie Brown (Mark); grandchildren – Jennifer (Garry), Corrine (Neil), Chantel, Ryan (Jordana), Jeffery, Joshua, David, Deidra, Kyle, Kayla, Taylor, Carly and Olivia; 10 great-grandchildren; brother – Winston Pardy (Peggy); siblings-in-law – Hoover Evans (Sybil), Joy Squires (Clarence), Linda Watkins (Bob), Gerald Evan, Dorothy Pardy, Marjorie Schroeder and Maxine Evans as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.
Funeral arrangement details will be announced as they become available.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Marie’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
